I have been pretty MIA the past week -- sorry! I got a new job.
So anyway, a few weeks back I had asked for some ideas/help with my wedding shoes. KellyCatalo posted the link to the tutorial for blue glitter heels (
http://lauryngallowayblog.com/diy-glitter-heels/). I followed the tutorial tonight... and I think the shoes came out GREAT!
I used Mod Podge and glitter (Tulip brand). I had a $50 reward certificate to PiperLime, and the shoes were on clearance for $47... so they were free
Here are the shoes before... (beige and black Franco Sarto's... it was a little painful taking sandpaper to them! lol)
and AFTER!
Im really not one for sparkle and all that, but I just loved this idea and Im pretty happy with how they came out

Thanks to all you ladies who helped me decide what to do for shoes!

</div><div>I was hunting for a yellow shoe too so I made yellow glitter shoes! I am heading out to a bridal show now but tomorrow if I have time I will try to take a good picture and post them for you! .. Yellow is tough ... You have to do it on white and the glitter is very translucent so I did about 6 coats still contemplating doing another one. It would probably actually be best to do on a yellow pair but had a hard time finding one. </div><div>
