I got the RSVP that I didn't want ... my mema (grandma) declined.

I knew she would, but I was holding out hope that she'd change her mind and attend my wedding. Ah well, she'll be there in spirit I guess.

I'm so so sorry..

1FI's aunt has already told us (at Thanksgiving) she won't be there. She's in a wheelchair, and traveling has gotten to be way too difficult lately. FI and I are still holding out hope that she'll have changed her mind and tell us she is coming!

I just spoke with his mother, and she mentioned that his grandmother is also having a rough year. I really hope that she wasn't trying to get us ready for that decline, also

It's sad, that's for sure!

I found out last night that one of my close friends from San Diego won't be coming, and I wasn't prepared at all for that decline. I almost started crying.

FI wants me to hold out hope that my friend changes his mind but, I am pretty sure he won't be there. This is the part that isn't fun at all!

i'm sorry about your mema. my grandma has implied that she's not coming but i'm still holding out hope that she'll change her mind. we're still waiting for her RSVP.

so far the only RSVPs we've gotten are from the wedding party and FI's side of the famiy :-/

Sorry to hear this news! Anything like that is hard to take especially when you just want them there on your big day!!

Last weekend I was told my dad's side will be limited at the wedding. My step-grandpa is in a nursing home, my grandma cannot make the 7 hour drive, my aunt has my cousins graduation the next day, my other aunt can't drive by herself, and my uncle hasn't been in the picture for 10 years... that's 8 no's I'm guessing from his side alone. =o(

My grandbother isn't coming to my shower tomorrow and she has implied that she will not be attending the wedding.

This stinks! My FI's family is MUCH smaller than mine and we already know a bunch won't be able to come but we got a really unexpected decline over the weekend that was really sad.

At this point my "Most-dreaded" is still outstanding but not because I'm worried people won't come but worried instead about some associated family drama. I just want to get the card and move forward knowing one way or the other!
