David's Bridal definitely had dresses for under $300. I ended up with a more expensive one from another store, but had seen some inexpensive dresses I liked at David's.

<div>Ditto this. If you find a dress in a store that you love, you can then go online and find it much cheaper pre-owened or even as a sample. I just got my dress pre-owned on eBay for 65% off what the list price is and couldn't be happier.</div><div>
</div><div>And there are def options at David's Bridal, just ask to be shown dresses that are on sale or under your budget. </div><div>
</div><div>And Coronet's Bridal in Feasterville had a huge selection of sale dresses, some of those might be in your budget.</div>

Ok, when I say ordering online, I mean from either a reputable dealer, or from a reputable site that sells pre-owned wedding dresses, like preownedweddingdresses.com, or eBay where you have a buyer protection plan in place so if the dress isn't as described, you can return it and get your money back. Don't buy from the knock-off sites, because they pretty much all have crappy quality.

Also, I would make sure you've been able to try on the actual dress before buying it. I would never have picked my dress based on the picture of it on the model online, but when I tried it on in the store I knew it was "the one." Also, there were ones online that I loved, but didn't look good when I put them on.

Good luck in your search, just be diligent, I know you find something! I took me a good 2 months to find mine online, but I'm so glad I waited because I saved so much money buying it preowned.

Also Priscilla of Boston is closing... and I know they're having some pretty fabulous sales.

Try DB.  And also call some bridal salons and ask if they have any of the samples for sale.  The shop I got my dress at sold last season's samples for $99.

Paprika: I like it when you burp in my ear. It really turns me on.

I got my dress at Group USA at Franklin Mills Mall in Northeast Philadelphia. They had a lot of dresses on sale.
