Tulle & Mints?

Are the days of tulle circles and mints for favours over? Or is this still considered to be an okay wedding favour?

I think that is a fine favor idea. Basic and simple. We are doing plastic goblet/wine looking glasses filled with candy and then tied with a tulle square, ribbon and the favor tag. It came as a kit, so you may want to check something like that out, but if not, I think what you have is perfectly fine.

I think they are fine- but what about just putting mints in a small bowl on the table?  Costs less and requires less labor.

I personally think they're over.  I couldn't vote because, sure they're acceptable.  But I think they're a copout.  It's like you do that because you can't think of anything else to do.  They have favor tins at Michael's - 30 for $19.99 and with their 40% off coupon, hardly any money at all.  The kit also includes stickers that you can personalize the tins with.

I have pics in my bio.  I'm using the tins to include hard candies and mints in the tins.
