I am stuck on the flowers!?!? HELP

I am so stuck on flowers... I don't know if I want to do them myself with high quality silks, go to the store the day before, get some nice flowers and dress them up a little bit, order some dried flowers, or what i'm going to do...
I AM NOT using a florists...

I found some beautiful calla lily bouquets on etsy,  but i can go to walmart and make the same exact thing for 1/4 of the price. I found another bouquet I like as well on etsy,that is absolutly perfect for the wedding, that is silk flowers, that I know i won't be able to make myself.. but i can't justify spending $50 on silk flowers(

    Your wedding is almost a year and a half away based on your ticker. Relax: you have plenty of time.

    The etsy picture you posted is a lovely selection. While I am crafty, that would not be hard to replicate for someone who is not. Working with silk flowers is easier than working with real flowers............you can work and rework them and they don't die, don't wilt. They might fray a bit, but you have plenty of time to play with them and buy replacements if they start to look bedraggled

    That bouquet you posted has burlap (per the description, but looks closer to cheese cloth) wrapped around the bouquet stems, then brown ribbon criss crossed over that.

    My motto in life (which I have told my kids forever): There is nothing I cannot do, only things I've never tried. Try this yourself, you may be amazed at what you can do.
