Hey Ladies,

Sorry I have been MIA my life is crazy right now but all for the good.

We were supposed to close last Thursday but are having problems with our mortgage company (they slacked on submitting our file to underwriting) and now we are set to close next Thursday.

So I have been busy packing and trying to get all of that done while still planning and getting things done for the wedding 29 days ahhh!!!! lol


in the midst of all of that I had my bridal shower on 9/30. It was great my BM's, my mom, fmil and FI ( yes they had him running all around for this) all worked really hard and it turned out really really nice. I don't have too many pictures but here are a few I managed to get from my mom




Toilet Paper wedding Dress Game
 My hat made out of wrapping paper and bows



 
FI came in with roses and a box from Vicky Secrets.. I was like did you just buy a present for yourself lol


I have also been on a bit of a DIY kick lately so here are some of the things I have been working on



I blinged out the heels of my wedding shoes in my colors gold and brown... the pic doesn't capture how sparkly it is.





My mom and I made tears of joy packets... ( FI did the photoshop work) we printed them out on blank stickers and put ribbon around the envelopes.




I found these gold baskets and these little gold Christmas decorations at the dollar store.... took some E6000 and viola... baskets for FI's little sister and cousin to hold the tears of joy packets and programs in.

I am currently working on my picture frames to hold my table #'s, waiting to close on my house and ANXIOUSLY waiting for my 2nd dress fitting which is this upcoming Monday...can't wait to show you guys house and (properly fitting) dress pics yay!

    {zsa zsa voice}  dahlink toilet paper dresses and gift bow hats are all the rage right now in paris.   that was too cute.  you looked like you had bunches of fun!

    getting down with DIY as a family  -  hayle's yeah!   *slow.standing.O.*   love when the bride has help.  + and look at you miss sparkly heels - love the glitter.

    the house stuff is gonna work out i just know it.  girl the power of prayer.   can i tell you a secret - when i bought my house, i was moving from an apartment, had given the landlord the keys, moving truck was downstairs, all that.  bank called and said sorry we won't have the clear to close ready until monday - for the same reasons, underwriting didn't have my paperwork yet. (this was friday I officially had nowhere to live until they got it together).  I said {smooths skirt} well, I said a bunch of things that I won't repeat here but they included a loss of diplomacy that resulted in getting that document 45 minutes before the end of business that day.   I say all that to say that prayer changes things but in the meantime if you gotta get to cussin somebody tfo, it's also um, quite effective.

    now i'm sad because it just occurred to me that you're too young to know who the hell zsa zsa is.

    lolol I have an Idea of who zsa zsa is lol.

    we have tried everything from diplomatic and dignified to down right indignant lol and they keep coming back with the same BS... I know what the real problem is, they got backed up in their office and put our file to the side and then said OH SH!T when they realized we were so close to our closing date. they have lied to us so many times in the past two weeks it is not funny and it all boiled down to we were supposed to close on the 11th... the loan processor didn't even send out our file to underwriting until the 10th!!!!! b/c of that there was nothing they could do b/c all I keep hearing is " you can't rush underwriting"

    I have decided to look at the bright side and say that the money we are saving interest from the 11th to the 25th that we have to come to the table with can be put towards the wedding lol
