Bachelorette Playlist

I am the Maid of Honor for my best friend, and I am throwing the bachelorette party. I have the games (thanks to some awesome articles I read on here), I have the events set up, and everything else is taken care of--except music. Does anyone have any ideas for some good music to play throughout the day (there is a break between time spent at main location and going to one of the events planned) that is great for not just keeping to the wedding theme, but also great for getting a girl ready for a good time? I need to start making a playlist.

Just for a breakdown, here's what's going on:
1. Lunch at her favorite restaurante
2. Back to the main location (my parents apartment which they have graciously lent us) for presents and games
3. Burlesque class
4. Back to main location for appetizers, dinner, a bit of drinking, and more games
5. Out to a club nearby to cap off the night

Re: Bachelorette Playlist

  • When I get together with my girls getting ready to go out, just hanging, stuff like that we like to listen to the girlest music possible.

    Katy Perry- Teenage Dream CD
    Jessie J- Domino
Carly Rae Jepsen- Call Me Maybe
    Madonna
    Lady Gaga
    Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
    Britney

Basically good sing along songs, maybe even some Bieber and BSB.

It could also be fun to include random older songs that were top hits when you guys were in middle school, high school and college.
  • I think Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson are good for those kind of playlists. Oh & of course Spice Girls.
  • I think the most suitable kind of music is something girly and upbeat! Here's a site that has some suggestions for your bachelorette party music:  http://www.bachelorette-partyideas.com/bachelorette-party-music.html  I actually got some of my playlist songs from their suggestions.
  • Music is one of my favorite parts of planning these things! (: I would suggest some "club remix" versions of your favorite songs. They can be extra fun and dancy and get everyone SUPER in the mood to go clubbing!
