Flowers

flowergirl

Found out the church will not let our flower girl throw petals. Our flower budget is pretty tight right now so I am looking for alternatives that would be cute. We are having our wedding in December.

Our church will not allow petals either. Also, I refuse to pay $45 for flowers that will only peek over top of the basket. Two thing I am considering - either buying a "here comes the bride" sign (Etsy or you can make your own) for her and ring bearer to carry and skip flowers/pillow, or I am going to buy flowers from a local store the day before (something pouffy that will show over top, babyes breath, hydrangea) and throw it in the basket the day of.

Like a PP said, use something inexpensive.  If you have a really young flower girl then something sturdy would be appropriate too.  You just never know what they may do to whatever they are holding.  My flower girl (who we only really had for pics because she was just not behaving enough to walk down the aisle so she just sat with her father) immediately began pulling apart the tiny nosegay we gave her...at least this kept her occupied for the ceremony LOL!

I'm not sure how old she is, but if it's an older FG she could blow bubbles. ^_^
