Affordable Beach Wedding

Hi!

My fiance and I want to plan an intimate wedding (less than 20 guests) on a beach in October.  We live in California but we are also considering places such as Mexico and Hawaii.  Our budget is $5k. Do you have any ideas on affordable locations?  Thanks!--Q

    I was at a wedding ceremony on the beach in Hermosa Beach that was organized by this hotel: http://www.beach-house.com/hermosa-beach-hotels.html

    The couple held their reception at a local restaurant.

    They said it was reasonable but I don't know the exact details on pricing.

    P.S. Lots of places in Mexico, Dominican Republic, and probably Hawaii too, have either free or cheap wedding packages when you stay at their hotel. The down side is your guests will have to pay for flights + hotel. Try the destination wedding board.
