I have a lot going on today... Find earrings and shoes, I hope. Weigh envelopes and get postage. Talk to MUA and DJ. Book hairstylist after talking to her once more. Finish up some more invites, almost done. Then NWR things: Pedicure Lunch w/friends Other errands Saturday, we are going to CoCo Beach to get a shed, then maybe boating that evening with our MOH and BM. If not, maybe truck pulls. Sunday, maybe pool day. Have a great weekend girls!

FI and all the guys but 2 are going to MW to get fitted and make a guys evening of it today. They're all getting off between lunch and 2 or so. The two that can't go are teens and they work at a service gas station and can't get off since its Friday. Their moms know the deadline date though. Also going to start working on addressing invitations too hopefully if they come in today like expected. Going with FMIL tomorrow to Sams to get some paper product stuff. Have to go to my Moms to get my dress and bring it home because my first fitting is Tuesday.

Today I'm meeting a friend for coffee this morning that I haven't seen in a few months. Then lunch with some other friends and going to see Magic Mike.

Tomorrow is my pole dancing class. I know some of you asked to let you know how it went. It was awesome! It was so much fun and a good work out. I was sore for 3 days.

FI and I are going away to a beach resort on Sun - Tues. I'm excited since it is my only break all summer. We bid on it in a silent auction and got a great deal on it.

Tonight FI and I are just going to relax and catch up on tv from this week (I can't wait to watch White Collar!) Tomorrow we're going to go look at wedding bands and tuxes (!!) and I hope to pick up some supplies to start working on table numbers (and buy the right kind of paint this time). In the evening we're going to go over to our friends' house to grill out and relax on the deck - assuming it's not raining, we may end up going over tonight if the rain is supposed to continue.

FI bought IMAX tickets to The Dark Night Rises this morning for next weekend. I can't wait; it's going to be awesome!!

We have our Pre Cana this weekend. I'm excited to go because I've heard a lot of people talk about how fun yet make it, but I'm a little upset because this is the last weekend my FI and I have together with no other plans,parties, events and it's being taken over by the church. I mean I know I'm spending it with him but it's different than running errands together, going to lunch or a movie, stuff like that KWIM? Either way it's the weekend so I'm happy lol... Happy Friday everyone!

We don't have any big plans. I think we are going to have a date night on Saturday, dinner and a movie. On Sunday I'm going with my sister (MOH) for mani/pedis. I might work on some small projects this weekend, table number and cutting out the rest of the favor tags. Other than that a quiet weekend. You will likely find us poolside.

Today is our 100 day mark, so either tonight or tomorrow FI will be making a special dinner to celebrate. He is an amazing cook! Our main WR task this weekend is to finalize our proofs and send them off to the printing stage. I've also been searching for a hairstylist, but what a challenge it has been. NWR, we are going to see Toby Keith this weekend! I'm super excited for that concert!

Happy Friday!

I got most of my WR stuff done this week, so this weekend is NWR. The town that I grew up in is having the summer festival, so tonight is the Beer tent. Alumni night, which I'm not sure how happy I am about. My MOH was supposed to be there, but she can't make it back to town in time, and I'm not sure who else is going to be there! lol

Saturday we are going to his dad's and hopefully I can get some WR stuff sorted out with his stepmom while we are there. Sunday is free for all day. He's hanging out with a friend, and I'm having lunch or coffee with both my MOH and bridesmaid!

I'm so excited because I haven't seen my MOH in two months or so!!!

I don't have too much going on, which is nice because I start working my summer school hours on Monday.

Friday--I'm hanging out with my MOH for the afternoon; FI is playing a gig that I may pop in to at night if friends are going.

Saturday--traffic school (darn speeding ticket) in the morning; BBQ at a BM's house in the afternoon and evening; FI has another gig about 45 minutes away, so I'll be enjoying the party.

Sunday--nada, but I do plan on going to the gym in the AM for BodyPump or Zumba... or both!

TGIF!!

Right now im on edge waiting for UPS to call me back about my postage!

EDIT: my postage has been found, FI's brother picked it up and then "forgot" ugh i could kill him!

Tonight i have a dinner date with a couple of friends!
Tomorrow FI and i are going to sit down and hash out our menu, sig.drink and some cake ideas before our menu meeting next weekend!
I also want to write my thank you cards for my bridal shower and get them out and finishing going through all of our gifts and sorting them (i need FI's help to put some of them in the attic, etc)

Sunday- i hope is a lazy day bc the rest of this summer is going to be filled with weddings, bachelorette parties, the beach etc. and i want to catch up on my DVR and maybe go grocery shopping.

We have our cake tasting tomorrow afternoon so today I will be spending the better part of the day researching styles (great way to avoid work). I might try to look for some WR things at Michael's at some point, maybe look for a dress for my bridal shower. And SLEEP. I haven't slept good all week for some reason so I plan on catching up a lot this weekend!

After work FI and I are going to get our honeymoon booked! I also want to get all our invite envelopes addressed. We're printing directly on the envelopes so it should be faster than handwriting. Tomorrow I'm headed to the post office to get stamps, then print the RSVP envelopes. Then dinner with a friend tomorrow night. Sunday we are meeting FIs BM and his gf for lunch. Looking forward to some more checks!

Happy Friday!!

Petalpockets, I'm glad to hear that pole dancing went well! I'm sort of interested now in trying to find one around here.

I'm going outlet shopping with a friend of mine and my mom tomorrow; and then heading to said friend's house for the evening because it's her bf's birthday. The guys will be playing poker so it'll probably be a late night. Sunday we have our cake tasting!! I'm very excited to check something else off the list!

Golf Tourney up in LA this afternoon and hanging out with FI's brother's family tonight. Then tomorrow we have a bbq to go to. And last night I think my FI conceeded to go to the tux places on Sunday after church because we have coupons to save all of the guys like $40, so I at least want to find out how much we are talking about. He also said we can stop at the mall to look at rings after!

Good morning.

Just got off the phone with the doctors office and they were very sweet and talked me through everything I might feel, etc for the next 2 weeks. Tonsillectomies suck..

My mother came over to take care of me while my FI is at work. She brought my foster sister who I absolutely adore. We are currently hanging out in bed watching The Backyardigans. I think I'm going to attempt some luke warm chicken broth today...very exciting, lol.

My invitations are in!! I just have to shoot an email out to the woman who does the printing to have the return address and rsvp address put on the envelopes. Then I have to get an inner/outer envelope list ready for the calligrapher.

I also have to contact the band to have them add on a keyboard for our ceremony music.

TGIF! It's going to be a busy busy weekend for us.

Tonight, I've gotta finish the cake that I am making for my stepdaughters birthday party this weekend. Between doing that, I've gotta do laundry, clean the house, and prep the food for tomorrow.

Tomorrow, we are having the party and all our family and friends will be coming over. We are grilling burgers and hot dogs. It should be a lot of fun, but right now I am so tired and feel like I have so much to do, I'm kinda kicking myself in the butt for taking on this huge cake!

On Sunday, I am taking FMIL shopping for her dress for the wedding. I'm really hoping she finds something that she likes within our budget. FI is going to come along and we'll take the girls so he can take them to build-a-bear while FMIL and I shop.

Got a busy weekend ahead! Tonight I'm meeting up with my mom and sister for dinner, followed by game night. Tomorrow I'm driving home for my youngest cousin's graduation party...how old does THAT make me feel, LOL! I'm staying at my mom's Saturday night and doing wedding DIY stuff with her on Sunday. And FI can't come with me for any of it because he has to work. : Sad, but it's nice to have a girl's weekend every now and again!

I despise Fridays since they are technically my Monday. So I am at work until 3. Then I'm going to go home and help FI clean the apartment before dinner with my parents tonight. Tomorrow I work 12-8 and then we're off to a going away party for a friend who is moving to Guatemala. Sunday is church and more of work.
