Shower venues (not really WR)?

Hi CT ladies, I hope everyone's well!

I know this isn't exactly wedding related, but my baby shower hosts are trying to come up with venues at which to hold my baby shower (in early February) and are having some trouble.  So I wanted to ask on here for suggestions for a location, given that most baby showers and bridal showers can be held in the same venues.

We're looking for something in or around Hartford (anything within 30 or so minutes) for about 25-30 guests?

Thanks so much in advance!

~Bella

Pond House - may be too big for your size but worth checking out.

I LOVE Pond House but that's where I had my bridal shower so I prefer a different venue, but it's great there :-)

pond house was my first thought too!

I would call Tisane in Hartford.  If you haven't been, it's a coffee/tea shop that has a full restaurant & bar.  They do a Sunday brunch that is great.  I'm thinking the might let you snag the back room area by their fireplace and do a brunch shower...that would be awesome in February!!  (the only issue is that parking there absolutely sucks)  http://www.mytisane.com/

Haha I just had my bridal shower at the pondhouse actually and was going to say that until I read these others.  Have you thought about Trumbull Kitchen, it's a Max restaurant, they have a loft upstairs. Bin228 and Cuvee are great but they are more wine related and I don't know how you feel about that. Vivo also offers private rooms as well. Good luck!

Trumbull Kitchens room is pretty small upstairs- we've had corporate events there and it's pretty cramped. Dish will "rent out" their "back room" for you- its basically the back of their restaurant near the windows- it gives you a lot of space. Salute also will do the same in the back.

The RD post above made me think of this but I went to a bridal shower brunch last month and the food here was delicious!!! The staff was awesome (and even helped carry out all the gifts). It's in S. Glastonbury.

I'm looking for a baby shower location for about 25, in Fairfield county. I would love a place that would be comfortable and somewhat private. Thanks
