Anyone ever had airbrush makeup done? Tell me your thoughts/show me your pics!

So...I booked a makeup lady and I have to decide between "traditional" makeup and airbrush makeup. I am going to have a makeup trial, so I will be extra sure before the wedding day. I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with airbrushed makeup.

I'm not afraid of makeup. I actually love makeup. I just don't want it to look too thick. And I REALLY don't want it to enhance my fine lines around my eyes (Even though I'm not even 30 yet, I feel like I have noticable wrinkles when wearing too much makeup and I'm very self conscious about it).

I'm still on the hunt for makeup inspiration picks, but this is my favorite so far:

My make-up lady also does both. I asked her what the difference between each was and she told me with the traditional makeup if I have oily skin I will most likely need to touch up my foundation during the day. The airbursh make-up stay put a little longer. I will probably do my trial in traditional make-up but the actual day of in the airbrush.

Hey so my makeup artist explained that with airbrush like the above post said will last longer and not require as many touch ups, with regular foundation you would have to dab your skin throughout the day because of the oils on your skin. It can be more expensive but they should not charge you more then $10 more. And i personally think that pictures come out better with the airbrush. Unfortunately I do not have any pictures to show you. Hope this helps!

I think my lady charges $20 more but fake lashes are incuded in the airbrush price so I'm totally ok with the little extra :-)

I dont have any pictures either, but i asked my lady if she recommends airbrush or traditional makeup and she said airbrush all the way. She is charging me the same price but thats bc i've been her customer for awhile...

I'm personally not doing it. I had it done at a wedding expo I went to, and it was way too much. I took a crappy picture with my phone which didn't really show how over-the-top it looked:

I'm sure in general it could be toned down and would have worked better, but I was kind of displeased and it left a bad impression.

I had it done for my sister's wedding (so did the whole bridal party). Since then I had a trial for my own wedding, and she used regular foundation. I didn't really notice a difference in how long it lasted. PM me if you want me to send pics.

I'm not having airbrush makeup done.

I think it's a good idea to have your preview done with the same makeup as will be used on your wedding day. If you're planning on using airbrush for you wedding, I would recommend trying it out in your preview session. That way, there's no surprises on your wedding day.

Airbrush for sure! My photo is to large but it stayed on all day and night. I had my trial done and attended a wedding and it looked flawless at the end of the night

I don't have any pictures, but when I had the airbrush done it looked great.

If you do go that route though make sure no matter how tired you are after the wedding that you wash your face because I didn't before bed and it really did a number on my skin.
