NWR: Suggestions for Fun Places for Dinner/Drinks with Friends?

DH and I are lame and never go out, so I need some help.  An old college friend and her husband are coming into town in a few weeks and she wants to meet up for dinner and drinks.  They are stopping here for one night on their way back to DC from NYC, so I would like to meet someplace closer to the city or major highway like 95 or Turnpike so it's not too far of a commute for them off 95 (we live in Upper Bucks).  Suggestions for any good places in Lower Bucks/Montgomery?
I was thinking somewhere maybe around Willow Grove area, Plymouth Meeting or NE Philly, like Dave and Busters?  How is the one in Plymouth Metting?  Ideally, someplace for dinner and/or drinks afterward, no wild dance clubs (we are old and lame) but somewhere with good food and/or a nice fun place for drinks afterward?  I thought Dave and Busters would be fun to play some games, but I am open to any suggestions.  I don't want to go into Center City, it's a PITA from our house and we have to drive home afterwards.
Thanks, ladies!

I really like the Brick House in Willow Grove...  Super-awesome "bad for you" food and good beers... Not sure if that's your scene..?

I'm not fun, so I don't have any suggestions for entertaining.  But, in Plymouth Meeting right at the Mall there is D&B, PF Chang's, Redstone, Benihana... which is less than 1/4 mile for them to hop on 276.  On Plymouth Rd (also less than 1/4 mile to 276) there is Plaza Azteca and Dawsons.

I recommend PF Changs, Redstone or Plaza Azteca.

    Madam I am dissapointed... ;-)

Boo Brickhouse, sorry I think 99% of their staff is annoyingly dumb...or act it...either way annoying...I cant hate on their food though

If you are looking for excellent food and yummy drinks, beer, martinis, sangria...
I have to shamelessly plug resturant #2

The Iron Abbey, it is right up the street from brickhouse, across the street from the base

Right off the turnpike in willow grove is Ooka. It has amazing sushi, amazing chicken teriaki, and a hibachi table. It's 2 minutes off of the turnpike. I <3 it there.

Thanks, ladies!  I also thought a trip to Parx casino might be fun--I think there is a Chickie's and Petes there.  We are up for bad food and good drinks!  Just not loud dance clubs--I'm way too old for that stuff now.  :)

Sorry Cait!! I DO love Iron Abbey!!

I agree about the staff at Brick House for the most part. But I do love the food. And we went there for our wedding after party so it has a special place in my heart ;)

ooohhh ooka!  Jus know - its a BYOB. There is a liquor store in the Staples shopping center though.  Also in that shopping center is a Bonefish Grille - make reservations, or you'll be waiting up to 2 hours!

Parx is a good idea to...crowd is hit or miss.

You could always do Chickies on the BLVD too, but it might be packed with people wtaching playoffs games (Sixers, Flyers), depending on when you are going.
