Marriage Prep Course - Catholic Wedding

Our Marriage Prep Course is Next Month.

From what I've heard ours seems to be quite a bit shorter than alot of them. I've heard anywhere from the full weekend, two weekends to 8 weeks (every saturday) long. Ours thankfully is only 1 day long.

I was just wondering if anyone can give a little info on what you did, and what was involved.

    I'll answer your question briefly here, in that DH & I also only had a one-day course too.

    It was mainly about communication, what a Catholic marriage is, and NFP of course.

    We met privately with our priest for counciling/prep course on a wednesdy night for three weeks I think? It wast mostly just chit chat about what marriage is, and how men and women tend to have different world views, how to communicate effectively and othe such things. It varies form parish to parish.
