  i haven't but where i'm going to zumba they're starting up ballroom lessons (for just you or as a couple). it's called bartelt dancers on riverside drive near lane avenue.

  My FI and I just finished our last class.  We took a wedding crash course at Dance Plus Ballroom in Grandview.  It was $55 for a couple for 4 weeks of lessons.  It was nice because it was only engaged couples and we learned the box step/waltz, salsa, and swing.  I liked that even though it was focused on dancing our instructor gave us little helpful advice like if you have wedding shoes without a back you should put a rubber band around the top so your feet don't fall out during your first dance, or that you should limit your first dance to 90 sec, otherwise people will get bored. Even though I had to drag my FI at the start, he's now the one who keeps telling me we need to practice.

  Ditto pp. We did the same class in Grandview. I had a lot of fun . . . my husband, not so much. But he needed it, and it did help.

  FI actually mentioned this the other day we don't want to necessarily do a choreographed first dance but it would be great to not look like we're at a middle school dance haha
