Going Dress Shopping...

So I'm going dress shopping for the first time- Sunday for Bridesmaids' dresses and Monday for mine. I've read all the stuff on here about what to do for my dress; wear a strapless bra, decent underwear, etc.. but my question is this, should I give the same advice to my girls for the bridesmaid dress shopping? Or does it really not matter as much with them? I just want everyone to be prepared.

    I don't think it would hurt to mention it to your girls.  I don't think it's as big of a deal with them, but no harm in being like, I read this about what a bride should wear for dress shopping, maybe some of the tips will help you.

    Ditto PP. It would be good to let them know, but not super important. When I took my sisters shopping for bridesmaids dresses, they kept forgetting to wear strapless bras. It wasn't the end of the world, but it would have better if they had remembered.

    I guess it isnt considered as important because most dresses for bridesmaids, you can get into by yourself.  Where a wedding gown usually requires at least 2 people. 

    Mention it to them though, so they don't wear their sexiest thong and lacy bra. haha.
