Suggestions for a good, but inexpensive DJ in Cincinnati?

I am trying to look for a wedding DJ and don't really even know where to start. Most of the websites seem very general and don't offer much information on the actual types of music played, etc.
I'd like to find a good, fun DJ that actually plays the music we request in addition to adding their own selections. I've definitely seen some in the past that have all but disregarded the bride and grooms' requests. We'd also like to keep it on the inexpensive side. Does anyone have specific suggestions?

I would look into them. I am still in the beginning phases of planning and so far they seem to be pretty reasonably priced.
Do you have any other vendors picked out?

How many hours do you plan on using your DJ for? I know a lot of vendors are strictly for 4 hours, and some are pretty expensive hourly. I have seen a lot of reviews for Party Pleasers (good reviews) and a lot of review for DJ Butlers as well. I think pretty much all dj's should play what you want - it's your party. Have you tried craigslist for new businesses starting out?

I don't know what you consider inexpensive, but we booked a Steve Bender DJ for a little over 600.

This is a friend of mine...has his own DJ business and I've seen him do a few weddings and get togethers. He's very outgoing and does what his customer wants

We used Zach with NKY DJ. He djs on the side becuase he loves it so much. He charges $400 for 4 hrs and $50 for each additional hour. He did a great job and has great equipment. He did an amazing job and I would definitely use him again if I needed a dj. Good Luck!
