  FI's cousin's wife's sister (so convoluted isn't it just great?) is pregnant and due 2 weeks after our wedding.  They can't come because they have to be in town in case she goes into labor and they have to be there to get their other kids.  I mean I get it but, seriously?  You'll be 5 hours away for 2 days max and can leave at any time.  Can't somone watch the kids for the little bit of time until they could get there?

  My sister just told me yesterday that her kids aren't coming because "they don't want to and she's not going to make them". Duh, the wedding is THIS saturday and I already gave the caterer the count and have them seated at the front table with my parents. Now my parents table will be missing 3 people!

  I am having the opposite problem with my list.  People keep asking if they can bring random guests!  It's awkward having to tell them no, but my catering numbers were due last week and I wouldn't be able to feed anyone that decided to come now...
