What is everyone up to this weekend? Any wedding planning?

Tonight FI and I are going to the Rascal Flatts concert with some friends. I am so excited. I also took a vacation day from work today, so I wont be ready for bed at like 9pm. lol.

Tomorrow we are going to a friends BBQ and I have to bring a dessert, I have no idea what to bring, and dont necessarily have time to bake anything.

I dont think we are doing any wedding planning this weekend, My big goal of the weekend is to make it to the gym both Saturday and Sunday.

My MOH is coming this weekend, and she is going to kick me in the butt to get me in the swing of wedding planning!! Not sure how much is going to get done since we will be hanging with our guys as well, but she says she has a huge list of things to go over with me. Thank goodness. I need someone like her to help me plan because, to be honest, I HATE planning! hahah. The only thing I have booked is the venue (which I know is VERY important, but I still feel behind). I need to start my wedding binder and get a checklist going. Ahh stress!

Have fun at the concert! And for the BBQ, maybe you can bring some pre-cut fruit from the grocery store? Or make something easy that requires no baking like banana pudding?

Haven't done a TGIF thread in a while.

I'm skipping out of work early today. FI is off so BM is over helping him figure out how to put stairs on the deck, so I'll get to go home to that.

Saturday we're going to the earliest possible showing of the new Batman movie. Our town only has one small theater and they don't always ID so kids get into a lot they aren't supposed to, so we tend to avoid the popular times.

Sunday we're driving the hour into Syracuse to go out to dinner for FI's mom's birthday.

I'm most excited to have a do nothing day on Saturday. I finally broke down last night and told FI I'm tried and exhausted and can't do things anymore. I haven't had a single day that isn't completely swamped by work, grad school, deck building, wedding planning or triathlon training in two months and I'm totally worn out at this point. I skipped getting up and working out again this morning because of how tired I am, I needed the extra sleep more at this point. Hopefully this weekend will bring me some relief, because I still have a shitload more stuff to do for everything I have going on. The end is nowhere near in sight and I'm pooped.

I'd just go get get some premade dessert from the grocery store if I was you, haha.

Both of your weekends sound fun!

We don't have anything major going on over the weekend, FI works weekends during summer, so it kind of sucks.

Tomorrow I am meeting some of my friends to try out one of the local ice cream shops, and Sunday I'll probably just hang out and be lazy.

I think I'm going to catch up on little things like getting addresses together, working on our website, and planning out my meals for the next week. My parents want to see our venue before they go back to Arizona in the fall, so maybe we can run down there tomorrow.

I'm also throwing in an AW for my son, Jacob. He went to the Alice Cooper/Iron Maiden concert Wednesday. Alice Cooper was walking around. When Jacob asked him, "Are you really Alice Cooper?" he got right up in his face and said, "The one and only!" He let them take pictures and he signed their ticket stubs in eyeliner! lol

I took today off so a plumber could come over and fix both of our sinks I'm so excited they're done! Now I'm about to pick up one of my BMs and head up to a bridal shop in NH to look at their selection of BM dresses. Then maybe make an appointment to take my girls there since I've had nothing but issues with my local DB and AA.

Tomorrow is my company family outing to six flags so FI and I will be spending the day there on the company's tab! We get in an hour earlier than the general public and they're having a BBQ lunch for everyone as well. There's something like 2400 employees and family members going. I'm excited even though I don't really like the big rides. Tomorrow night my brother and his FI are coming over for a game night. So I'm really looking forward to it.

Sunday we don't have any plans and it feels great! It'll be a lazy day but some errands/chores involved as well.

So excited for you, MrsK!! Can't wait to see the pictures!!

We're going to see the new Batman movie tonight...I'm pretty geeked. Most of the movie was filmed here in Pittsburgh last summer, and my fiance and I were extras in the stadium scene, so I can't wait to see how the whole movie looks (apologies for those of you on the FB page who had to read about this twice now, did I mention I'm excited?).

We're going over to my fiance's parents' on Sunday for steaks on the grill, but other than that, we have nothing going on this weekend. I should probably do some wedding stuff, but in reality, I'm probably going to lay around like a slug this weekend.

Oh, slutty brownies are the best! I don't really bake, but a friend of mine makes those all the time for our girls get togethers, and they are the first thing to go!

Those slutty brownies look amazing. I might just make them for the fun of it! And then eat them for thr fun of it. Sparkles- You should try them and let us know how everyone liked them. They look fun to make.

No major wedding planning going on this weekend. My FI works Saturday during the day and I work at night. I will probably just finalize my guest lists. I am making two, one for the reception and one for the ceremony. On sunday I am going to see my roommates(also my bridesmaids) for the first time this summer. I finally get to show them what I have planned for the wedding so far. I will see them in a couple weeks regardless because of school starting back.

I have my work party tonight -- we're going bowling. Not as fun as bar's outing, it sounds! We can't even bring significant others... only employees allowed

Free booze and food though!

Tomorrow morning I'm going dress shopping for the first time at David's. There's also a fair happening at our venue (it's a big pioneer/pilgrims historical park), so we might sneak over to plot out potential photo locations. We've never actually seen the grounds in the summer, so I'm pretty excited. Saturday night he's taking me out for date night and then Sunday is softball and laundry. Busy weekend!

Two weeks of summer school down, 1 to go! Hurray!!! My last hour class was actually good for once!!

We're having a double date night to the best fish fry in town with one of FI's high school friends and his fiancee. We'll really get a chance to get to know his soon to be bride and see where they are in wedding planning. A few weeks ago she thought 12-13-14 was going to be their date...we'll see if that has changed or not.

My FI was so excited he was very perky this morning and was chanting "I get fish fry for supper tonight". I'm normally the one who is more awake, but this time he was. Lol.

We may stop in to look at rings again. FI needs reffing flags for the clinic he's attending to get his ref license again and the jeweler is only 5 min from the mall. I think I just needed a diff sales rep who was actually listening! Other than that, I plan to work on wording so my MOH can start with drafting our invitations and STD.

Today FI is off at an "on the job interview" so he won't be home till like 7.. am I bad for looking forward to some "me" time when I get home from work? I feel bad lol, but this is the first time I'll be alone since he moved in 2 months ago.. then I'm making some zucchini bread after dinner (yum)..

Not sure exactly what the plans are for this weekend, but I definitely need to call and bug my MOH (little sister) about the STD/Invites/RSVP artwork she offered (and promised) to do that I don't even know if she's started yet.. don't even know how to approach her about it w/o sounding like an ungrateful witch, but I have a groupon for vistaprint that expires in september that I really would like to use for paper goods

Not this this one is a big deal, but I finally got my FI to agree on wording for STD/Invites/RSVP and reception cards so we can put things together to use his grandfathers old school printing press shop. We should have more time here soon since my parents/his bosses are going on vacation for a litle over a month next week. I think we will get quite a bit of planning type stuff done together instead of it being mainly me who has been getting it done.

That would be a cool date, it's also happens to be my 30th birthday.

For the weekend, not much planned. We will be going to the Cape per usual with FI's family and the county fair is this weekend, so that should be fun. I also have Monday off and am planning on not doing too much.

Sparkles- FI and I went to see Rascal Flatts last summer and might go again next Friday in St. Louis. They put on an amazing show, and it's super visual so make sure you take a great camera!

As for us, not a whole lot. FI is going with my dad tomorrow morning to help a friend pour concrete while I stay home and get some cleaning done (Bailey will be getting a litter box with a lid. I learned my lesson). Then, we have a birthday party for my cousin at 3 and are going to see Montgomery Gentry at the winery we're getting married at tomorrow night. Sunday will probably be a lot of sleeping and accomplishing nothing all day.

Tonight I am just waiting for FI to get home. He just called and said maybe we would go out in our town and meet some friends for a while, but he tends to say that and then come home and change his mind so we'll see. I don't care either way as long as we aren;t too hung over tomorrow. I handle hangovers great, only feel crappy in the morning until I get my carbs, but he loses the entire day sometimes, lol. Tomorrow we are going to do some chores- laundry, ordering skylight shades, etc. Then we are sitting by the pool with my parents and getting some sun since I can't anymore due to working.

Might also go to a friends Birthday BBQ, see how we feel. Looking forward to spending Sunday doing nothing.

I'm curious to hear how the old school printing press goes! We're making our invitations, too, and have yet to look into printing options. On an unrelated note, I really want some brownies.

Sparkles- I am also JEALOUS of you going to Rascal Flatts, they are my favorite!

Saturday: FI and I are finally jumping into action and going to Medical Weight Loss Center for help. We both have a LOT of weight to lose but neither of us have the motivation to do it without help. FIs sister-in-law did this a couple years ago and she looks great, I never would have known if FI didn't tell me. I'm excited to finally push ourselves into a plan of action.

Sunday: Not sure what we will do yet, I'm sure like others, we will be going to see the Dark Knight Rises, and probably grocery shopping. Not sure what else is on the agenda.

Rascal was awesome. This was actually the third time I have gone to see them, and it gets better everytime. Those slutty brownies look awesome and I would love to try them, however, I drank way too much last night. I am a sucker at concerts for getting any type of frozen drink in a plastic container. So I was drinking out of plastic coconuts all night and didnt get up until noon. Sooo we went to costco and bought a carrot cake and red velvet cupcakes. I feel so lazy but oh well!
