toning exercises?

I got my dress last week and it fits like a glove, the only downfall is that I have a bit of backfat and I feel like my arms are huge. I don't want to lose a lot of weight since I am finally starting to feel a bit happier about where I am in life but I feel like 10-20 lbs wouldn't be too much of a big deal. The dress is a corset back so I have alittle bit of wiggle room. So I know I've asked questions about toning before but I've fallen off the wagon so many times. What are the best arm exercises to tone the back of the arm and same with back. I'm hoping to figure out how to fit a work in with my work and school schedule, but they seem to be taking up all my time lately. Any advice is welcome. TIA

High reps low weight being the best way to "tone" is a myth.  If you want to build muscle and lose fat (which will give you the "tone" you're looking for) you should lift weights (a weight you can do about 10-12 reps with) and lose fat by changing your diet and doing cardio.

    Spot on.
Low reps and high weight has worked wonders for me- along with cardio and careful eating. The key is to push yourself to work hard- it shouldn't be too easy.
