Dana Bartone / Air Brushed Make-up

So I posted something on the wedding beauty board about air brushed make-up in general, and didn't get much response. I neeeever wear make-up, and originally was just going to get regular make-up done by a friend, but I am thinking of going with air brushed. Dana is doing my hair, and said she could do my make-up as well. Does anyone have an experience with this? I know she's a pro and probably great, but I need some reassurance and the air brushed choice. Anyone have any experience, tips, etc. with her, or about air brushed make-up in general?

Thanks girls!

Dana's awesome and so is her staff! I had my trial at her salon back in April and did the airbrush makeup and I loooooved it! It'll last A LOT longer than traditional makeup which is great for your wedding day and all the pictures that'll be taken.

I had air brushed makeup at my wedding- LOVED IT!!! (And it was one of Dana's girls that did it). It was so light and they can very the coverage they do (I wanted full coverage, but she said they could also keep it more natural too).
It covered all the redness and blemishes and really evened out my skin. I wish I could have it everyday!

Oh, and lasted the whole day, through all the sweat and tears!

Dana is fabulous.  She did my makeup for my wedding 3 weeks ago.  I hate the feeling of foundation, and you really don't feel the airbrush at all.  It's very light feeling, but has good coverage, but natural.  You really don't have anything to worry about.  If you want to see some pics (non pro) pics from my wedding, PM me and I'll send you a link.  There's a close up of her doing my makeup on our video trailer too.  You can see how she did my eyes.  http://www.dmodyssey.com/blog/

I never wear makeup either, and I decided to go with airbrush.  It felt really light and I still managed to look like myself. It lasted all day long too!

The only downside about my experience was that the shade of foundation was a shade or 2 too dark for me - it didn't match my neck and shoulders. I had had my trial done in the wintertime and was wearing a sweater the day of, so the difference in color wasn't noticeable then. Whoops!

I had my makeup trial with Dana a few weeks ago (though Amy will be doing my makeup for the wedding), and she did the airbrush. It really feels like there's nothing on your face, and looked really natural.
I didn't get the full effect (I was pretty pale last month, and I plan to be tan for the wedding) but I think it looked great.
