Hi,
Has anyone worked with RJ Vida for his DJ services?  If so, what was your experience?

    We went to a wedding where he was the DJ and FI and I were totally turned off.  The bride asked him to play a song and as soon as she turned around, he rolled his eyes!  I asked my FI if he had seen that and he had.  FI said NO WAY was he doing our wedding.

    Also, I don't remember him getting the crowd involved.  He just played songs and that was it.

    I'm going with Grant Hemond.

    Wow! I am actually floored to hear this about RJ Vida. I have had several friends use him and he was absolutely fantastic. If we hadn't hired a band he would have been my first choice. I am not sure what coraleetbwed meant by getting the crowd involved, so I might be speaking about something different (?). While he did not interact with guests by playing games, etc... he did kept the crowd on the dance floor.

    All I have ever seen are rave reviews. He actually just won Tampa Bay's BEST Wedding DJ. My suggestion would obviously be to read his reviews.

    @lulluturner-where did you see that he just won Tampa Bay's BEST Wedding DJ?  I heard that too but when I googled it, I couldnt find it.

    It was from a vote in poll 2012 WTSP DealChicken A-List Winners.

    The wedding we went to, he just played the songs and that was about it.  I don't remember him talking except to announce the bridal party.
