  9. How did you and your fiance meet?
  
  At work. Prior to us meeting, I had a strict policy against dating co-workers, but I guess rules are meant to be broken right?
  
  10. When did you get engaged and how did he do it??
  
  December 25, 2011. He proposed at his mother's house on Christmas morning. We were all sitting around the tree opening gifts and he hid the ring in a Michael Koors watch box. I had no clue what was going on. I was totally surprised.

  July 20, 2013!!

  The Ronald W. Shane Center in Miami
  
  13. What are your wedding colors?
  
  Pale pink, lavendar, and gray

  The Dominican Republic
  
  15. Favorite wedding vendor so far?
  
  That is a tricky one. All of my vendors are FABULOUS! But if I had to choose a top 2, I would have to say my wedding planners Amber and Chanda of Liz & Lex Events. They have made planning this wedding so much easier than it could have been. Also, the photographer that took our engagement pictures Cendio Teme. He is so talented and we love his work.
  
  16. Biggest wedding splurge?
  
  Definitely the food! Our wedding theme is "Southern Sophistication" and I wanted to make sure that the food at our wedding reflected that theme. We had to search high and low for a great caterer, but after we found him, and had our initial tasting, we realized that it was well worth the search.
  
  17. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't? 
  
  I really wish that I could have a dessert chef come in and make fresh beingets for guests after dinner. Also, as a midnight snack, hot po'boy sandwiches made with either fried shrimp or conch (that's a nice south Florida twist)

  I'm a huge reader, so it is difficult for me to choose just one, but I love anything written by Eric Jerome Dickey. I am also a fan of the late, great L.A. Banks.

  True Blood
  
  22. Favorite wedding dress designer?
  
  Reem Acra and Kenneth Pool
  
  23. Any advice you can give?
  
  Always be mindful of your budget. Do you really NEED that candy bar or the $250 shoes? Also, never loose focus of what this day means. Don't become so consumed with planning the wedding, that you forget to enjoy one another.
  
  24. Anything you wish you could change about your wedding?
  
  Other than increasing the budget? lol. If I could change anything, I'd change the venue. While I love the Shane Center, I really wish I could have had it at my first choice the Coral Gables Museum.
  
  25. Share something about yourself
  
  My favorite color in the world is pink. I am the ulitmate girly girl. . I am a huge Beyonce' fan! She's coming to Miami 10 days before my wedding and of course I'm going to be there with my girls for a 2nd bachelorette party.

  OK first of all HEY Dannitra LOL....
  I didnt knw our birthday are literally days apart HOW AWESOME IS THAT lol and I swear you dont look like a Teacher, I was thinking more on the lines of a Administrator LOL...
  And how cute is the engagement story im sure that was one Christmas to remember, im super happy for you! Those are some really nice colors too....love it and i bet they are gonna come out soo nice especially with you exquisite taste!
  
  And you are more than welcome to come to be apart of the big day as much as you have helped me out with certain things you better be there LOL

  This all day is sooo true and im a firm believer that in order for us to have gotten the proposal we need to keep the LOVE alive!!!
