    While I like a side pony tail, I wouldn't do it for a wedding because I think it's too trendy. I wouldn't want to look at my photos in 3 years and think, "Oh that hairstyle! Remember when that was in??" Most everyone's style will look dated eventually, no need to hurry that process along (IMO anyway!). =)

    I dunno, I don't think the side ponytail like Carrie U. has in the photo reads trendy.  I see it as a throwback to classic country singers, which to me is more vintage.

    I suppose it depends on your perspective.
