bakery recommendations?

I am starting to look for the bakery to do our cakes for our wedding.  We are trying to be as most cost effective, so if anyone has any great recommendations of places yall have used, I would love to hear them! 

We are on a strict budget, but I still want a beautiful cake!  :)

    It might sound odd, but you should check out Lone Star Bakery in Round Rock. They're the home of the legendary Round Rock Doughnut.  I thought it was weird, but when I asked my wedding coordinator who she thought I should check out, she said that I would be surprised by the work they can do there.

    I've had LoneStar Bakery cakes before and they are delish!! I would check them out. We used Classic Cakes by Lori in Dripping Springs and our cakes were fabulous!! They were so beautiful - delicious and very reasonably priced. The grooms cake was the face of the Aggie ring and she got every detail! She is updating her website but she has pictures on her facebook page.
