I'm looking for suggestions on gifts for both sides of the bridal party... My fiancee and I are lost and don't really have family that have been helping us with all this wedding etiquette...
Does the maid of honor/ best man get something different than the rest??
Suggestions????

Feel free to go through them all and fwd them to me if you'd like :-)
I think i just realized why I don't use these forums/chat rooms .....
I know my MOH loves coach, so I am getting her a wristlet. 2 of my BM's are in college and money is tight so I am paying for some of the expenses for them as their gift. I am looking at them all as individuals so I am getting them a gift unique to them. Oh and I am getting all the girls monogramed totes so everyone's stuff doesn't get crazy mixed up the day of.
For the grooms men we are asking that they buy black suits, iinstead of renting a tux because it is about the same amount of money or could be cheaper so we are buying them their ties for the wedding and then a little something extra as well. I am waiting for FI to make up his mind on that.
HTH!
The gifts should not be themed/centered around your wedding - jewelry, purses, the shoes they'll wear, hair and makeup payments, etc. If you want to buy them jewelry, etc., to use for the wedding or treat them to hair/makeup then that's fine, but don't make that THE gift. Pair it with at least one personal thing for them that isn't just about your wedding. (And if you're requiring pro hair and makeup, then you have to pay, and it doesn't count as a treat/gift since you'd be demanding it.) If you're choosing a color for the gift, then get it in THEIR favorite colors, not your wedding colors (for example, someone said a while back that she wanted to give MP3 players in the same color as their dresses ... what if they don't particularly like that color?).
They all don't need to get the same thing. And if you feel like getting someone (MOH and Best Man, for example) something more than the others, then you should probably do it in private.
And like PP said, scroll down and read a while and you can find posts on the same topic, so you can get ideas. Pretend it's their birthdays or Christmas ... pick out things that you know they will use and enjoy.
Also, she did not give you a "smartass answer." She gave you a very good starting point. If you want help here, it would be wise not to insult the people giving it.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.
Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

Salba, it was not a smartass answer, but yours was. IF you had lurked just a little bit and checked out posts, you would have seen the same answer over and over and over and over and over.
That's because it's a very good answer. FWIW: It's not a great idea to come onto a board and start out by throwing out insults at anyone, particularly regulars.
Since you want specific suggestions and can't be bothered to give any individual thought to your BMs tastes and preferences, but just want specific suggestions, you can copy my ideas. I'm sure my friends and your friends have exactly the same tastes and interests.
When the answer is as general as "shop like you would for any other occasion," I genuinely don't understand why that would possibly not be the same answer people would give to you.
