April 2012 Weddings

Postcard Stamps *XP*

When we went to the post office yesterday they didn't have the 65-cent wedding stamps in yet.  But we did find these postcard stamps to go on our reply cards.  The Aloha shirts fit our Hawaiian theme perfectly.  The gentleman behind the counter couldn't understand why fiance and I were all excited and giving each other high fives.

Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.

  • Yay!  Glad your Hawaii theme is going well!

I was eyeing those stamps as well, I'm planning on a doing a postcard guestbook and those would be perfect!  The only thing is as we're getting our RSVPs, I'm noticing how dirty the envelope looks after all the stamp canceling, etc that the USPS does, so I'm considering actually having the postcards mailed back to us in envelopes.  Time to start a new post with that question...

  • So adorable! They didn't have the new 32 cent postcard stamps at my post office yet. Fortunately I needed those stamps for business, so I didn't care that it was 29 + 3 cent stamps on there. I think I'm just going to order them online to be safe :)
  • No, I'm in the same boat! Wishing I'd chosen a luau theme instead of rustic. We're getting married in a NY state park and these stamps aren't quite what I was looking for. At all. I even called USPS and nobody knows when they're coming out with new 32¢ stamps. Vintage it is, because that route is a LOT less than $18 for a sheet of 20 custom stamps.
