Indoor Photo Location Ideas

I'm getting married Nov. 3rd this year. Our ceremony is in Tremont & the reception is in Eastlake. I have some fun locations picked out for outdoor photos but want to have some indoor places picked out as backup because this is Cleveland, it could be beautiful, it could rain, heck it could snow. We're doing family photos at the church but want to have some fun pictures with bridal party elsewhere. A lot of the cool places downtown require that you get permits. Not really room in the budget for that. Any suggestions between Tremont & Eastlake (in Lake County) are welcomed. I want to have a few ideas before talking to photographer. Thanks!

  • The Cleveland Public library main branch downtown is a neat space and I don't believe they charge if you want to use it for photos. Also, the Avenue at Terminal Tower is another free locale. Bear in mind that both places are public though. I wonder if you could do pics at the new casino? I know they are one of few casinos that allow pictures at all (in certain areas, anyway).

If you can swing $50, the Halle Building lobby is gorgeous and only costs that much to reserve for pics. It has lots of pretty black and pinkish marble as well as a fountain. I think itmay just be the best deal in all of downtown for 'pay' type spots.

  • Thanks for the ideas. $50 isn't too bad.
  • I was also going to suggest the Halle building. I work in the building and it has a very nice enterance hall with the fountain. $50 is not too much money to give up for a back-up location for pictures...especially with being in Cleveland...as you said, you can never predict the weather.
