Update: Envelope help

So tonight Mom and I started making the STD's....super cute! Can't wait t take a pic and show them!

However, I tried printing on envelopes in all 3 printers we have in the house and they just took the envelope and spit it out unprinted.

They are 5 1/4 by 7 1/4

And I thought this would be easy haha

Any suggestions?

Edit:
So I got it to print correctly!!! Yay!
I did the custom size as you suggested.

Although it is smudging a tiiiiny bit on the return address....in the printer

can I help that at all?

I consider myself pretty computer savvy, but printer settings are the bane of my existence when it comes to computers.

What program are you trying to print off? If it's a word processing program (like Microsoft Word) I would try changing the paper to a custom size and try printing them that way. We had to save our actual STD as a PDF and print them.  You could try that as well, only you'd have to have a file for every single address.

Definitely try the custom sizing.. that can make a world of a difference.... Or you can change your margins to the size you need. The biggest thing is to try and try... but use the same envelope over and over (so you don't waste a bunch).

I had the same problem at first when I was using word.  You have to make it a custom paper size, but when you do that make sure you highlight all the pages so it applies to all of them.  On my Mac, you have to change it in both the page attributes field and then the custom paper size fields.  HTH!
