another venue question

Does anybody know pricing info for georgetown studios? I've tried emaling but haven't gotten a response.

Do any other venues exist that you can bring in your own food/drink?

I contacted them last fall and this is the info I got (sorry it isn't current!) -

    - $1500 for Sat/Sun, $1250 for Friday, and $750 Mon-Thurs.  You have the space all day and evening - they also said they could offer half day pricing.
    - Rental price includes the space and 75 parking spaces NOT tables or chairs, you have to rent those on  your own.
    - Require a licensed or certified server/bartender if you are serving alcohol.
    - Require liability insurance.
    - I spoke with Tim - 206-240-9513 or info@georgetownstudios.com

My venue is the Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center in Discovery Park and it also has an open catering/alcohol policy.  It's also less expensive than Georgetown but more rustic.

Another option for open catering is the Pickering Barn in Issaquah, but again, it's rustic.  The Golden Gardens Bath House is popular but was too small for my wedding.

    Hope this helps!  Good luck!!

I contacted them about a montha go and they said they weren't sure if they were going to be open in 2011-- something about the change in code and the landlord not willing to do siezmic retrofitting.

This question is probably answered, but like Reebsreebs, I contacted GS too and it's now confirmed they will be closed as of January 2011. :( Sorry!
