Stemless wine glasses

The FI and I are thinking about getting stemless wine glasses as a favor for our guests.  There are a few different sites that sell them and they're all customizable.  I was just wondering if anyone else is thinking about getting these, or if you already got them what company did you go with and how did they look?

Not a fan of stemless wine glasses in general.  Really not a fan of wine glasses as favors.  I'm not going to use them (or even keep them) because the only ones that get shelf space with me are the ones that have about five or seven identical friends with them so I can use them when entertaining.

Thanks for the feedback.  What kind of favor did you decide on?

I've learned that customizable favors - shot glasses, CDs, etc. tend to not be used after the wedding. It's usually because they have someone else's name on them, haha. I have a few personalized coffee scoopers and teaspoons, a shot glass, a champagne glass, and I went to a wedding recently where a couple made a CD of all of their favorite songs. It was nice to listen to on the ride home, but I haven't touched it since and probably will never listen to it again.

I love wine and I have many, many wine glasses, some don't have matching glasses and that's fine with me. Is there a reason why you guys want wine glasses as favors? This is a bit DIY, but you could buy plain stemless wine glasses (I love stemless wine glasses!), add some candies to the glass or something else that's your favorite and a little hand-written (or not) saying on cardstock (or some nice paper) about love or your favorite quote.

I received champagne flutes with the couples name, date & a dove on them. Half of the wording rubber off by the time we got home. I hate that they are in my house.

If wine glasses fit your theme go with no personalization and fill them with candy. But try to do one per person. I don't want to come home with just one wine glass.

Otherwise, maybe try something edible or a photobooth (that is what I am doing).

It was just an idea. I recently went to a wedding where we were given a wooden fan and a bandana with the couple's name and wedding date on it - things I would never use again.  Basically we were just looking for something that people could use again.  I like the idea of having a photobooth and I actually looked into one but it cost like $1,000 to rent for the night and that was waaay out of our price range for favors.

I appreciate all the feedback and will definitely go a different route...perhaps something edible or maybe spend the money on something else entirely.

    Thanks again!!

I agree with the personalized favors. We all know who got married and odds are we would never use it when they got home, (if they lasted that long.)
Love the stemless wine glasses, but fill it with something for sure, (wine bottle stopper??)

I'm doing pint glasses, and yes they have our name and the wedding date on them. They were actually very affordable - about $1.50 including setup, printing and shipping from Staples.

My older sister's favors were refrigerator magnets, and 14 years later we still go to people's houses and they are still up.

I put chalkboard labels on all different types of glassware and then matched the glassware to what I thought that person would like.  I then wrote the person's name on it and it was also their placecard.  Then I put chalk on the tables so people could erase their name and put whatever crazy message on their glass they liked.
