**MuSu & other S&S ladies!**

Can I ask what you ended up doing/or plan to do, with your pictures from S&S?  Did you buy all the images, have S&S make you a book, calendar, etc?

There are so many options & some aren't the cheapest!  I'm just trying to figure out the best way to get some bang for my buck & still have something great for FI!

TIA!!  = )

Since all you S&S ladies are around this thread anyway (well, hopefully soon.)

How much was the total cost? Did it include any prints or just the rights to the digital prints?

I just ordered the CD of the untouched pictures, because they really didn't need to be retouched at all. I am going to try to make a photobook out of the pictures, although they say they aren't high enough quality to do that, so we will see. I did the Diva, I think (4 look) and had the groupon, so I it ended up being like $470 for the session and then $100 for the CD.

Well I didn't go through S&S but after I got the CD of images I designed a book in Picaboo.  Super easy to use and pricing is variable.

I ended up ordering one of their books that they make for you, so I wouldn't look for me as the cheapest route to go, lol. I emailed back and forth with their purchasing/ordering woman and didn't feel like ordering the untouched images on CD would be worth the risk if they turned out not to high quality enough for a photobook, since I've seen some photobooks turn out pixely looking from regular old dig camera photos. I could be totally wrong, of course, but I just didn't want to risk it at that point. Finally I decided on just going ahead and having them make up a book for me. I had some discount that they applied to my purchase though, so I got 100 or 200 off the final price, I think. Total, with the photoshoot and the book they made me, I think I spent about $500. It was definitely worth it in the end though, because the book they made was absolutely amazing and J loves it.

MuSu - Yeah I was planning on going the book route, & then I looked at the price!  But that's what I've had in mind the whole time, so that's probably what I'll end up doing.

But if you say that the book quality is really good, maybe it's worth the cost of having them put it together for me...  Hmmm I've got some thinking to do!  = )

    Thanks!
