I'm still on the hunt for a bracelet for my wedding. Today my aunt sent me a link to a groupon -- $25 for $50 to spend at Blue Nile. So I started shopping around and found this bracelet which is
almost in my budget if I take into account the $25 savings:

I didn't plan on wearing pearls, but I like that this fits into my color scheme (lots of different neutrals + royal blue), has a little personality without being too loud, and matches my champagne sash and blush colored shoes.
My only hesitation is that it will clash with the earrings I'm wearing because it's different in both color and material:

Thoughts? Is it a definite no?

Also, for anyone who missed it on FB, I got concrete confirmation this afternoon of something I already knew: Beth rocks.

So does Leia:

Number of colons used in this post: 5.

[QUOTE]I don't do jewelry very often, so take this FWIW: I say do it. I like the bracelet and the earrings. It's not like your wrist and your ear lobes are going to be hanging out together enough for people to notice the difference. But that's just my opinion.

That's kind of what I was hoping, but I'm also kind of a jewerly novice. Thanks for validating me!
Still here and still fabulous!
[QUOTE]Are you sure you don't want to borrow my bracelet? I'm happy to let you borrow it...and it matches your earrings perfectly!! I love the pearl bracelet but not necessarily with the earrings... maybe for the rehearsal dinner?

It does, and I'm still thinking about it. I'm just not sure it's quite the style I'm going for. I definitely love it, though. hmmmmm.

[QUOTE]Elle, though I wouldn't think they clash in my opinion, I also don't think that your look would be coherent. The bracelet is pretty I like it. But I'm not sure that it works together with your earrings.

I kind of agree; that's why I asked. I feel like it would be coherent with everything else though (dress, sash, shoes, hair flower). So, really, it's the earrings that are the problem.
...But, if I call them my "something blue", then they don't really need to go with everything else anyway... right... right?
I'm trying so hard lol.

You are RIGHT! If they are your something blue then the earrings are held to another standard!

[QUOTE]I don't really love them together. I think earrings like these would go better with that bracelet, while still having your something blue: (I have similar ones only with pear shaped pearls.) I love these too, and they seem to match perfectly: Earrings are both from Blue Nile.

The second pearl earrings match perfectly. Good job yaga!
And Elle, don't regret buying those earrings... they are beautiful. You just have to find a different bracelet to go with it, no biggie.

[QUOTE]I love the earrings and the bracelet...and I would probably wear them together but I don't really know anything about matching lol.

Haha, thanks for making me feel better. I'm starting to feel dumb for even asking.
Shoes - I love the topaz bracelet, but I don't really like the way thin bracelets look on me. I need more of a cuff I think.
[QUOTE]If my pearl earrings were more wedding-y I'd totally let you borrow them (they are like the first set I posted, but have a larger, tear drop pearl). But they definitely do not make the statement that the ones you have do. I do think that pearls go with your wedding attire. Just the colors and your theme.

I agree. I had just wanted to stay away from them because, honestly, I don't really like pearls most of the time. I mean, let's call a spade a spade... pearls are oyster boogers. I've just never found them that appealing.
But then I saw that bracelet and now I'm rethinking everything. Why must I do this?

Gee, thanks.

Really, I kind of agree. The problem is that I already have the earrings...

If you really don't want the earrings anymore, you could just sell them. Then you could find new earrings to go with your bracelet. But let me ask you.... do you really like pearls? Because even though they might look pretty online, if you've never worn pearls you might not like them when you put them on. Can you remember the reason why you loved the earrings when you bought them?

[QUOTE]I absolutely love the earrings you have & I'm not crazy about the bracelet. I'm not big on pearls either though so that could be why.

Thanks for the reassurance. :)
[QUOTE]I think if you do the pearl bracelet in the tuxedo option that Blue Nile has, it would work with your earrings better.

I considered that one, but I'm not crazy about the heavy contrast I guess. What about the "aurora" one?
