Paper Lanters- Cost?

Hi Gals! Was wondering if anyone knows how much paper lanterns cost to rent?

I know I need lighting for my outdoor ceremony/reception and am trying to think of the most cost effective way to provide lighting for a tent reception.

I saw some for sale for $1.95 on here somewhere so if that's a better deal I might as well get them so I don't have to rent them from a vendor.

Food for thought...who will put them up, you also need to purchase batteries or transformers and you need to make sure they will be bright enough. J. :-)

Renting the lanterns seemed around $30 a lamp at the party place im goin thru on oahu, instead i bought mine off asianideas.com and they will be more for decor than lighting (i have flameless tea lights i might rig into them)

We ended up bringing in our own colored lanterns to match our colors, but still paid rental company fee to install them with light bulbs inside. We tried those battery lights at home in the bathroom and it hardly did anything.

Destiny- do you mind sharing the cost of having the rental company install them?
