Heritage Hotel Southbury

Hey all!  I am wondering if anyone has looked at Heritage Hotel in Southbury for their wedding.  How are the prices and the atmosphere?  I am trying to get ahold of them to get some pricing, but waiting for a call back.  I am finding that a ton of places have great specials going on right now, and I wonder how this place is going to be!

    I went there with a friend who almost booked it (but then plans changed and couldn't) they were very nice and accomodating to what she wanted and worked with her on pricing! They also had a lot of options for ceremony on site and differnt rooms depending on the size of your wedding! I'd definitely check it out the grounds are very pretty!

    We had our reception at the Heritage last June.  We loved it!  The Eight Mile Brook room is beautiful, and the food and service were great, too.  I have also attended an event in the Garden room, and it is also pretty, although it is significantly smaller.  They had many packages to choose from, and Jennifer was great to work with as well.  The property is also really pretty!

    I know the girl who used to be their catering sales person just left so I think they are in a bit of trasition. I would keep trying them.

    We looked there. It's a rustic feel and nice grounds. And getting a massage from Nancy in the spa is a MUST!

    My sister got married there in October 2009 and everyone still raves what a beautiful wedding she had.  I reccommend it! And its awesome that there is a bar in the hotel for the after party
