Alright, so I ran out of glue sticks for my glue gun
So although its only 9pm, I might as well get the post up because I'm done until tomorrow when I can get more glue lol I will post checks here, then go update my site with all the new stuff this weekend
So here's what I did today...
First thing I worked on was the flowers for the aisle. To decorate the end chairs down the aisle I found a picture I liked, but tweeked slightly. My inspiration picture is:
I decided to do it with a black sash, and red and white roses, but less of them (I just wanted it to be a subtle touch). I put together the first set of roses as a mockup and loved how it came out. They are floral taped together and then have black ribbon on them, incase it shows under the sash. There are also longer ribbon ends so you can tie it on before tying on the sash, to make it easier to decorate the day of
So I decided to tackle the first step, floral taping all of them, and got that done
Once those were done (and that felt GOOD lol) I moved onto a quicker project. I wanted to do a unique bouquet charm for each of my girls that showed off their personality. So I finished those
Each one had a charm with their first name and a second charm that represents some big part of who they are or how we got to know each other
And then I put together my bouquet charm which include a locket that holds a picture of my father and I as well as a charm of a nautical wheel. FI and I met at business meetings for the business we now own together, and the main symbol of that business is the nautical wheel
Then I decided to tackle the corsages. I started with the ones for SIL and FSIL. They are helping deal with the kids, so I wanted to do something with a safety pin style pin on so that they don't have to worry about it. I did them a little different just to represent each of their personalities a little.
And then I was working on the ones for the two mothers but that's when the glue ran out.... so picture this but with a pretty black bow over by the red rose, I will add the bow when I get more glue tomorrow night lol
