Where has time gone?

My wedding is almost 4 months away, and im starting to stress. It seems like i have a million things to do and time is slipping away. From invitations to the search for the right shoe,to 5/9 BM have ordered dresses.And this dang guestlist is gonna kill me as soon as i think we have made progress reality sets in.And why is it when you say your getting married everybody you come in contact with thanks their invited??? I have to order candy for the Buffet and head to TJ Maxx in search of about 20 cylinders for centerpieces in addition to about 10 DIY projects im working on. I have some major tasks to tackle over the next couple of weeks. or Maybe im worring over nothing. either way, I'm in desperate need a Hott bubble bath and a glass of Moscato ASAP......

I understand I'm 6 months away and people keep asking when is the big day? I think alot of my co-workers are expecting an invitation but they are mistaken. My FI has a very large family and even he has to limit his people. I took December off from planning my wedding and now the stress is coming back....I really have 6 months left. All I can say is take it one day at a time...get the BM's that have ordered to talk to the BM's that haven't. I'm still looking for their dresses

so your ahead of me...but I did pick out my shoes. They are colored Jessica Simpson open toe heels...nothing fancy. Just take a deep breath and try and knock out a couple of things every week. On your invitations...have you tried zazzle for ideas? I say pick out two invitations that you really like and then as your FI to choose one. My FI is letting me make most of the decisions b/c he knows at the end of the day I;ll be the one upset. Although he is very opinionated for the guest list and the DJ other than that We'll figure it out. Good Luck Sweetie...and don't stress your so close to ur special day.

Thank you so much Blingbride82. My biggest problem with the invitaions is that I have found a couple that i love but then i see something else. I Actually saw a satin shoe in deep purple in nordstoms but im still not 100% on it.. And just like you he has an exetremly large family and friend base an he feels bad about not being able to invite them all, but we are paying for the majority of th wedding and i feel like if you havent seen them or hung out with them in the past 2 yrs than, it's a no... his mom even suggested that we do something for Memorial Day weekend @ her home for those we cant invite. Luckly i do have alot of major ck's, i just think im siking myself out LIKE WOW IM REALLY GETTING MARRIED IN 4 MONTHS.........

I got my vases from Michael's using the 40% off coupons. You can use one per visit unless you get a nice cashier who allows you to do two or three transactions at one time. Even if you and your FI go into the store you can both buy one and they give you a 40% off coupon for the following week. There's always a coupon in the Sunday paper and you can sign up for their emails to get a weekly coupon

How ironic I've been collecting those same cylinders from TJMaxx too! My to do list is about the same as yours. I set out daily goals and take it step by step. And start with the most important things first. Thinking about everything at once will just continue to overwhelm you.

I dont feel like I have accomplished much...
2/5 BM dresses paid for
Still paying for venue
Need paper for invites(DIY)
Need to go retry on dress(since first tryin on have lost weight)
Need to finish guest list
on...and on....and on...
5 months and 1 week to go. I hope I dont start to flip out.
