Need Bachlorette Party Help

Hi ladies,
I'm currently planning a bachlorette party & need some help. The plan right now is to head to Boordy Vineyards in the afternoon (
http://boordy.com ) & then out to Fell's Point or Federal Hill for dinner & drinks & stick around there for the night or head into Baltimore for dancing, etc. We're going to be a group of about 5 - 7 25 - 26 yr. olds. I'm thinking the bride would like somewhere for dinner that has an interesting atmosphere & healthy food options (& nothing too expensive for us covering costs) & then fun bars nearby…hopefully some with a DJ/younger crowd for later in the night.

Few questions/just wondering if anyone has any suggestions since I've never stayed in this area & have only gone out there a few times.
- Where would be the best location to stay? Fell's Point or Federal Hill? Any suggestions on nice but not pricey hotels?- Any restaurant suggestions?- Any bar suggestions?- Any suggestions for where to go for dancing?- Is public transportation easy to use? Are cabs our best bet?- Any places to avoid?
Thanks so much!!

Hmmm...I will try and help you out the best I can but honestly there are tons of places to go to in Baltimore! It's actually funny because my BA party is in Philly so my girls went through this too :-)

Where would be the best location to stay? Fell's Point or Federal Hill? Offhand I can't think of any hotels in Fed. Hill, so Fell's or the Harbor would probably be your best bet.
Any suggestions on nice but not pricey hotels? There are tons!  Maybe check websites like expedia and tripadvisor for the best rates-I personally swear by the reviews on trip advisor for honest reviews!

    - Any restaurant suggestions? Again, there are tons.  Little Italy is right near Fells and has a lot of restaurants, M&S Grill is more basic but is good for groups, and there are tons in Fells as well.

    - Any bar suggestions? If you are going to Fed Hill I would recommend going bar hopping-all the bars have their own "personalities" Mothers, RopeWalk, Mad River, Magerks are the big and popular ones in Fed Hill.  I haven't been to Fells Point in awhile but there are also tons of bars over there-we used to go to Max's.

    - Any suggestions for where to go for dancing? Quite a few of the bars in Fed Hill have dancing.  There is also Power Plant which has tons of places for dancing.

    - Is public transportation easy to use? Are cabs our best bet? Cabs for sure!

    - Any places to avoid? None off hand...

    Thanks so much!!

Both Fells and Federal Hill are totally fun in my opinion, I personally prefer Fells Point myself- but I like both areas. You could just head down and bar hop, there are plenty of bars everywhere in both locations- and great places to eat! I'm actually craving the pizza from Pub Dogs (formerly thirsty dogs) in Federal Hill- if you are looking for a more casual dinner (or a midnight snack) I would recommend it. In Fells Point my favorite Bar is Max's- huge beer menu! And I love Red Star in Fells for dinner.

I think there is a Best Western (has Toby's Dinner theatre in it) right at 95 so really not far from Canton or Fells Point.

I can't think of anywhere in Fells you would want to dance, Federal Hill is probably better for that

If you went to Fed Hill you probably would have to stay at the Harbor, that will be pricey but just cram all of you in the same room and it shouldn't be too awful

There's one bar in Fells that I know has dancing, but I can't for the life of me remember the name right now.  It's on Broadway, on the northbound side, I think across from one of those markets...

Fells has plenty of different types of bars/resturants.  They are all pretty good food wise.  Some of my favorites are Alexander's Tavern, and One Eyed Mikes.  I work in Fells and those are the most two common places we frequent for lunch.    Alexander's has more of a bar then what One Eyed Mikes has though, if you wanted to be on the bar side of the resturant.
