Recently we picked out the perfect dress for our daughter to wear on the day of our wedding. Originally we had planned on doing a white dress with black flower accents and a big black sash tied in a big bow in the back. I've just seen soooooo many flower girl dresses like that so I really don't want that anymore. I don't want people to think we are tacky but now we have chosen a black dress for her to wear. I love, love, LOVE this dress! My FH and my FMIL both love it also. I took Willow in to try on flower girl dresses just to get a feel for what different styles look like, and we had so much fun! My FMIL stood with her in front of the mirror while I took pictures. It was a very productive trip to the bridal shop. I made a $200 payment on my gown, picked out my bridesmaid dresses, and made the final decision on a flower girl dress!
The top three pictures are of the flower girl dress that we have chosen from the Eden Bridals website. The third one is the detail on the top of the dress. The detail isn't great or anything, but it's the look of the whole dress that got me. This dress just caught my eye! It's very basic, but very elegant, and the back of it is absolutely stunning!!!!!!!! The following three photos are of Willow's "photo shoot"! The red one was too red for my taste. The purple and white one would have been a BIG contender if we were having a purple and green wedding!!! It's so cute! The ivory colored gown was my favorite!!!!!! I got all teary eyed thinking that someday she would be standing on that pedestal trying on wedding gowns!!!! I had a mommy moment.
Anyway, when I saw it on her I knew that the black gown would look amazing on her too. What do you think??? Is it tacky to put a black dress on her??? ....the last two photos I just threw in because of the proud Mama in me.
