can you believe this..........

OMG I am SOOOOO upset. I have been engaged for over 7 months now and have been doing LOTS of research and looking on the web. I have a bag full of ALL my wedding stuff, including SIGNED contracts, receipts, guest list, music selections, food list, venue lay out, pictures of dresses, and lots more personal things for my wedding. Well here goes I left it at work because I knew (thought) it would be safe to leave there and a co-worker STOLE it!!!!!! I have all the proof and she wont give it back!!! WHAT A JEALOUS BITCH!!!!!!!!
SO brides keep ALL your stuff close to you and dont trust anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

um, why in the world would someone want your contracts, pictures of dresses, your guest list, etc? Why would anyone want that type of thing? Are you sure it wasn't thrown out. I can't believe anyone would steal it. But if she did steal it, have you talked to your boss/ called the cops/ small claims court?

Why would you even bring this to work? If I were your boss, I would be seriously ticked and wondering how much work you are actually doing on the clock. You might try his/her office.

• What exactly is "all the proof"?

• My question is "Why?"
• I don't know why someone would want that stuff either and why it was at your work in the first place. At least you could keep it in your purse or bag.

Please answer.
• Something like that has absolutely no place being at your office at all, unless you're a wedding planner by trade and your colleagues are being paid to assist you with planning. I mean, yeah, I think most brides do at least some of their planning at work, but there's such a thing as discretion. Bringing your whole damn wedding binder? Not discreet.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

Ok ditto the PPs:

Why did you have all of your wedding stuff at work?

Why would anybody else even want it?

And what kind of "proof" do you have that somebody is actually holding all of that crap hostage?

And to respond to the actual title of your post: no, I don't believe this. Not one little bit.

• I've known brides that keep their pictures, info inside a folder at work in their office or drawer. Probably because they print things while they're working (even though they shouldn't) - lol. The concern I have with your post is the contracts, guess you have to ask the vendors for a copy. That would PISS me off so bad and I would probably call the coworker out on it or tell your supervisor.
• Sounds like a troll...

Agreed. I got this feeling as soon as I read the OMGs and all of the random capital words and excessive exclamations.

The "OMG i'm SOOOOOO upset" did it for me.

Sounds like Mud. . .regardless. . .things like this, especially signed contracts shouldn't just be 'left' at work or something. Keep it at home.
If this isnt MUD, contact your vendors ASAP about getting a copy of your contracts. Good luck!

• that stinks...I guess don't bring that type of stuff to work with you..... Keep it at home where it is safe!
• Google docs is your friend. Scanned copies of contracts mean you'll never lose them.
• You should make a citizen's arrest.
