Ceremony Location Help!

I need help ladies!!! Instead of googling for hours on end, I figured I'd come here - to the best Knot Board!!

So we just booked the Renaissance Savery for our wedding reception! 
However, we haven't found a ceremony site yet! I really like the Raccoon River Nature Lodge (have posted about it before), however it does cost $900 to rent it and a cleaning fee of $150 so a total of $1050 to rent it, which my fiance isn't thrilled about. 

What we are looking for - I'm fine with a church, it's just that we don't belong to one and parents don't either; not very religious so that's why I was trying to find a non-church; we need it to accomodate around 150 people; I don't want to be outside becuase I just don't want to have to worry about the weather.

    Check the Granger Community Center.  Rent is $400.  It looks new to me but is apparently a former church so they have the stage for the ceremony.

    Check into Unity Church!  It's in DSM I think they charge $200

    Candle lit way chapel in Dallas Center or we are getting married at the Church of the Land at Living History Farms, but that is $1000 also so not going to help if you are trying to go less than that.  Candle lit way I want to say is around $600 you do have to have someone who is a religious representative do your ceremony there though, so you couldn't have a judge do it or something like that.  They have ideas though if you dont know anyone to do the ceremony.  My mom is getting married there next June and they really like the couple that owns it.  It is a really cute place.

    How about any of the golf courses? We're getting married at Toad Valley it's 600 then you can rent chairs, You get the space from 9am until you get married.

    But there are lots of golf courses out there for outdoor and indoor weddings.

    There is Egnacios in Cumming (10 minutes south of west des moines)--they have a beautiful church with gorgeous stained glass windows that can accomdate up to 200 people.  It can be any religion and they will even provide an officiant free of charge too.

    I second the Unity Church idea. They will work with you and give you as much or as little God in your ceremony as you want.
