Ceremony Venue near Springvale Ballroom (North Olmstead)?

Hi Guys,

We are considering having our reception at Springvale Ballroom in North Olmstead. Their website says you can hold ceremonies there on the golf course, but when I spoke with a representative she said it is highly discouraged (something about the grounds always being too wet?).

Anyway, I'm from Akron and I'm not sure what's near there for a ceremony. I would like to do a non-church ceremony if possible (something more unique) but if there is a beautiful church nearby we aren't against that. I'd also like to avoid making my guests drive a long way in between--

any thoughts?

Thanks!!

How many guests? Frostville museum in the Metroparks (N. Olmsted area) is a former church that can be rented for ceremonies. Another similar place is the Old Town Hall in Strongsville. Both are for smaller guest lists though.

It would have to fit 150 to 200 guests. :/ thank you though!
  • There is a chapel at Grand Pacific Junction. It's not a congregating church, so you would have to bring in your own minister. It's a beautiful chapel in a quaint town in Olmsted Falls, only about 10 minutes from your WONDERFUL choice for a reception. :-)  Not sure how many people it holds, it's not very large.
