  • I am so happy that I got back into things this week! I found my favorite DVD workout on youtube (which is awesome, b/c the DVD I have doesn't work in the UK) so I did that a few times. My FI and I also restarted the hundred pushups program after stopping for about two months. I did my exhuastion test on Sunday night and got 41, so I was pretty happy that I hadn't lost all of my strength. We are doing it again tonight, and hopefully will keep it going until the wedding (and beyond).

  • What are you doing to keep yourself on track? counting calories and two-a-day workouts
    What is your favorite workout right now? none are m favorite right now. :)  It's getting too hot for hiking.  I go around 6:30pm these days and it's still over 100*. Ugh.
    What is your favorite snack? applesauce and almonds
    How did you resist the urge?? FI and I have treat night Saturdays so I don't eat sweets the rest of the week
    How did you stay motivated?? want to look great in my dress!

  • What are you doing to keep yourself on track? I'm trying to limit desserts (especially at showers!). But I failed on Saturday. I force myself to exercise every other day and not to eat after 7 pm.

    What is your favorite workout right now? Blah, my favorite part is when I complete a workout! Sometimes I run, sometimes I do 30 day shred or insanity on a DVD.

    What is your favorite snack? Crackers, but the salty ones. I need a healthy snack, but I've been eating more grapes at work.

    How did you resist the urge?? I brush my teeth when I want to stop eating at nights.

    How did you stay motivated?? I always feel crabby if I don't work out and I HATE being crabby.

  • I've been SO BUSY that I literally don't have time to eat, so that's been a huge help with keeping snacks to a minimum and my meals small.

    I cancelled my gym membership since we're moving next month, so I have until the end of June to use up all of my personal trainer sessions... which is a lot.  So I have LOTS of workouts scheduled for the next few weeks.

    My favorite snack at the moment is ice water... I'm SO LAZY.

    I'm going away this weekend so I'm hoping to keep the drinking to a minimum, but we'll be walking EVERYWHERE so I'm hoping that will help, as well!

  • What are you doing to keep yourself on track? Fitting into my wedding dress is my focus now since I am in the alterations portion now so I have to maintain my weight.
    What is your favorite workout right now? ZUMBA! I love it!
    What is your favorite snack? Green Peppers, I think it has to do with the crunch. I need crunch!
    How did you resist the urge?? Last weekend, for some reason was hard but I have been drinking alcohol less so I guess that kind of helps.
    How did you stay motivated??Bootcamp is going to kick my butt this week so trying to prepare me for that is helping me a bit.

  • ahhhhhhhh we are getting so close!!!!

    I have been really good this past week.  It's gotten REALLY hot here in Indiana - it's supposed to get up to 95 in the next few days! - which means its humid and sticky and our hot yoga classes have been REALLY hot.  I have been eating well, drinking my green juice, and limiting my sweets!

    But, fiance and I are going to Orlando this weekend to spend some time with his aunt/uncle/cousins who are down there and celebrate my junior BM's graduation. I know they are going to feed us well and we probably won't exercise much! apparently they live in a mansion with an exercise room (I haven't been to their home before, actually, they usually come up to us!) so at least we will work in some exercising. 

    I have noticed that a lot of my dress pants/skirts are fitting a little looser than usual, which is a good thing! I have said before that I am not one to weigh myself regularly because I fluctuate a lot and I don't think obsessing over the pounds is healthy, but I have been feeling good about myself with clothes fitting well/loosely, and I think that is what really matters.

    Oh, and I have been REALLY trying to drink 2 liters of water every day that I am sitting in the office, plus a liter during/after hot yoga. I think it has really helped to flush the bad stuff out of my body and keep me feeling good!
  • I have been so freakin busy that I have been so bad. I seriously haven't been to the gym in a week and this week at work is going to be horrible so I'm really pissed off. I'm trying to at least eat right, but yesterday I ate like crap.

  • I don't know whats wrong with me, but I can't get myself motivated! I've totally lost it for some reason :-( I tell myself we are 2 months now, but mentally I just cant get myself to go work out at night and have been craving bad foods.

    I'm working out two three times a day, all DVDs, FI is very excited, dropping pounds and getting cut!! So I have to keep up with him! Lol. My favorite snack would be zone protein bar dark chocolate with almonds I have my dress fitting is on June 2 so I have to step it up :
