marriage certificate came today

Just a quick update for those wondering how long it's currently taking for Hawaii to send out marriage certificates ... ours arrived today, and we were married on Dec. 5. We did NOT pay for the expedited service. Just FYI!

Almost 2 and a half months, that sounds about right. Our expedited one came after 2 months, the other copies came a week later... and this was in October.

Wow I can't believe it takes that long expedited or not. At least I know not to expect mine until the end of July.

I got a temporary certificate the day after my ceremony online, and it has worked fine for changing my social security card and drivers license. I think this might be a new service since the first of the year.
