Courthouse in Ohio built with a glass staircase. If you wear a skirt to court take the elevator. I just don't know how this got past the planning stages and was actually put in place without anyone questioning it.

Sorry if this was already discussed, I haven't been around too much lately.
Edited for spelling TK didn't catch as wrong.

I work with all dudes at an engineering company (120 men and 6 women) I am the only woman in management, and this doesn't really surprise me at all. I chaged my name when I got married and our systems couldn't handle it. I still break our internal computer programs fairly regularly because of the name-change.
I ordered a company polar-fleece (only a woman's version) and the CEO wanted to know why mine had cool seaming on it. I told him it was because it was a woman's shirt. He expressed confusion, and wanted one with racing stripe seams. I really didn't want to get into a talk about having boobs vs not having boobs, so I said "Maybe it is a new style, you should look at the new catalog"
I can't wait for the day I have a baby and we have to have the pumping talk.
Long story short - I am not surprised by this.

I never go with out undies. But my dear step-daughter does not. Guess who flashed everyone at the "Louvre" when we were in Paris. Yeah, she passed one of the forced air vents.
She still hasnt learned.
Hey YIO! A little over a week! How are you feeling? (sorry for thread jack)
[QUOTE]That's not surprising to me either :/ Hey YIO! A little over a week! How are you feeling? (sorry for thread jack)

Ya, getting close. Not freaking out or anything but there is a little me deep down inside that is jumping up and down screaming that things aren't done. At least that's the best way I can think to describe it. It hasn't really hit me yet, but I think it will this Friday once I start my vaca from work and start picking up the people coming in from out of town. FI's brother is the first on Saturday from Korea.
[QUOTE]Duds, I wondered about that too. Are kilts a common form of dress in Ohio?

Not normally, but maybe she was thinking about men the way men weren't thinking about women when the staircase was built. She was being inclusive. However it would be funny if a peeping Tom, hoping to look up women's skirts, got full view of a man wearing a kilt with nothing underneath.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: How was this not addressed during the planning phase. : This, and the functionality of it too. It will get scuffed up quickly, when it's dirty it will be really obvious, and anyone who has a fear of heights/doesn't like gaps between steps will not like the fact that the stepps are see through.

Yeah, I've been on a glass staircase in 4 inch heels and believe me, I took the elevator when I left. I'm petrified of heights.
