CTO Grand Central

Has anyone seen or preferably used CTO Grand Central for their wedding and can give me some insight?  Thanks!

Not personally, but I've only heard wonderful things about CTO bands.

I LOVE CTO - my family has had various CTO bands at many functions and everyone raves about them, but I have to say I was at a wedding Memorial Day weekend that had Grand Central and they were not so great.  I was highly disappointed in them.  The 3 singers are all young and the male singer thinks he is on stage at a rock concert.  At one point he and the female dnacer were on the dance floor rocking out to Paradise by the Dashboard light - yes, the REALLY long Meatloaf song - needless to say they cleared the dancefloor.  Although the drummer sang a few songs and he was awesome!  They are their newest band, so perhaps they need to work out some kinks.

    Hi,

I am the male singer who thinks he is on stage at a rock concert. ^_^ I'm so sorry we seem to have disappointed someone - but they're right, at that point, we were still somewhat new, and have since made some format and line-up changes to better meet your needs.

CTO Grand Central is certainly young, and we've made some changes to adjust to the wedding scene, but it' is very important to note that we do, at all times, our very best to bring a party EXACTLY the way the bride/groom request. Sometimes this includes things like "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" which is NOT something I'd recommend for a wedding unless you trust your guests to really get into the theatrics of the thing. We're dynamic, and we're performers - we don't do things quite like other wedding bands do.

But hey, we make the most of it.

We're an unusual band in that we do a bit more rock and modern dance than most bands, and a lot less Earth, Wind, and Fire. CTO sets extremely high standards for bands that I am comfortable we - after some time to grow into this new industry - are able to meet.

If you'd like, please message me and we can talk about ANYTHING you'd like. I promise I only treat weddings like rock concerts if I'm specifically asked to - and our band features eight singers, providing a level of versatilty and diversity in style that is unbeatable. No matter whether you want a classy Rat-Pack sound for your wedding, or a "rock concert" like the event mentioned, we can give you what you need. I promise.

    Michael
