Shopping for Plus Size Dress

Hello Ladies,
We're getting married the weekend before Halloween and are encouraging guests to come in costume. I bought a fabulous dress at Norman's Medieval Fair. It's dusty rose with distressed velvet and I when I tried it on I felt like a million bucks. Now, as the day draws closer, I'm beginning to feel as though I want a white dress for the ceremony, then change into my more costumy Renaissance-styled dress.   I want the experience of seeing myself and perhaps even wearing a white wedding dress.

Is there somewhere in the metro, (I'm in Norman) that sells plus size dresses? I'm totally fine with my size and not looking to diet before the big day. I've read other posts on other sites where plus size brides have had a real go of it when looking for or trying on dresses. Any shop you can direct me to will be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you checked the Bridal Boutique in Norman?  That's where I got mine and I'm a plus size.  My only concern for you would be the timing now, most dresses take about 4 months to come in, unless you can buy off the rack, which can be difficult.  I ordered mine at the end of March and put a rush on it and still don't have it yet.
The metro has Bella Rose in Edmond and of course David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo.  You may want to look into the Bridal Showroom on May Ave, the man that owns it can custom makes gowns if you can't find what you're looking for.  Good luck!!

I second Alfred Angelo! That's where I went and the size was not an issue at all :)

I third The Bridal Boutique! I tried a lot of other stores that only had heavy satin dresses in plus sizes, but the ladies at BB had a ton of choices in plus sizes. They made me feel BEAUTIFUL!

Ah.. thank you so much for your input. Forgive the delay, I've been away a bit. I'll look into the Bridal Boutique. I've never heard of it.  I have a perfectly beautiful dress I got at the Medevial Festival this year but it's a very soft pink. That's fine, since it's a halloween wedding but I think I still want to feel like a bride.  I've seen dresses I like from Alfred Angelo so perhaps I'll investigate them too.  Thanks again for your help!
