Well I've been pretty busy lately with wedding stuff. This morning FI and I went to meet with the deacon at the church to pay our deposit and start our prep classes. We also will get a discount on the marriage license because we're doing the classes. Whoo hoo! I'm kinda sad though, I was planning on making an aisle runner and found out today that the church doesn't allow them, apparently they're slippery? No biggie, at least I hadn't started working on one or anything.
Also, just got quote from Lacey with Intuitive Blooms. Her prices were amazing! We're getting my bouquet, BM bouquets x4, bouts x13, corsages x4, a memorial arrangement and flowers for our cake for under $500! I couldn't believe it, she is also great to work with. FI and I will be booking her, we really just felt like we clicked with her. I highly recommend her.
Lastly, my mother's uncle is a Catholic priest and lives in the Netherlands and told us earlier this week that he will be able to come to the US to preside over our ceremony! I'm so excited/honored to have him do this for us!
Anybody have any ideas of what we could get him as a gift? I want it to be really special since he's coming all this way. TIA ladies!
