    NWR: Brought my kids to see santa. Then we put up our decorations and our christmas tree. Big surprise because we never do it this early

    WR: Got our save the dates in the mail, so I started putting little strips of magnets on the back! I can't wait till January now to send them out!

    NWR: Put together the Christmas wreaths that I posted about earlier with a friend of mine and I also made these vases just for decor around my room with lace and modge podge! :)

    WR - not much just got our STD's designed and we are going to be sending in our deposits for catering, the cake and DJ (hopefully) this week. I am shocked we have all of that done. Now onto the invites. Hopefully will get those done over Winter Break or start over Winter break and finish over Spring Break.

    NWR - I worked and did research for two out of my three papers that are due in a few weeks. So glad that the semester is almost over, never felt this stressed out before.

    WR: Received my fingerprint tree guestbook (there's a separate post about that--please chime in if you haven't already!), emailed my ceremony coordinator and the music coordinator for the church.  I think that's about it.  I sent in some deposits last week for the cake baker and DJ.  Check and check!  I plan on taking it easy for the rest of the holidays and getting our registry and invitations done early in the New Year!

    NWR: Went out with some friends on Friday night.  FI and I went for two 4.5 mile runs over the weekend (one Sat and one Sun), which we're both really excited about (haha).  Trying to get in better shape for the wedding!  And my FI's brother was in town so we hung out yesterday and had a great time.

    I also watched Virgin Diaries last night--did anyone else?  What a bizarre little TV show.

    WR - went on 2 cake tastings with no luck :( Got one more to do this weekend; praying it goes well so we can book. Also, inquired about some makeup and hair stylists... 

    NWR - went to go see the new twilight - I didn't really care to see it, but it was very good & I did like it. Hate that it was part 1 though cuz now I have to wait a year to find out what happens! 

    @colstj - How did you make those vases? those look awesome & I would love to try!

    WR: made an appointment to meet with another photog for tomorrow!

    NWR: did some xmas shopping, worked, visited mine and Fi's family for a bit.

    WR:  Tried on my dress and veil!!!!  So excited about that!  I also designed my invitations and ordered the materials to start making them.







    And here's the invitation suite:




    NWR:  FI has finals this week (law student) so we've been quiet at home, but we bought a puppy a few weeks ago, so I spent a lot of time playing with her.  She's pretty much the most adorable thing I've ever seen!

    nessaalwayz: I used lace fabric and just used modge podge to attach them to the vase. Then I put a few coats over the top. :) Super easy!

    WR: Got my dress one Friday!! Got vegan wedding cake samples from a bakery- we decided on red velvet with white chocolate mousse. I got our birdcage card box and my bridal dress hanger in the mail and found some green tableclothes for our reception!

    NWR: Sunday included making homemade empanadas (vegan and non-vegan!) and watching football with my fiance and the FILs

    WR - I figured out what i'm doing for my bridesmaids for the day of the wedding, plus my mom and FMIL.(:

    NWR - I went to South Carolina for my FBIL's boot camp graduation! It was amazing to be back there..(went over a year ago for FI's) I had lots of fun!

    WR- FI said no planning until after the 1st of the year... :( but i still look at wedding stuff getting ideas so all we have to do is agree on things.

    NWR- Started decorating for Christmas and made some Birthday cards as this month we have 5 birthdays all in the same week!!!
