Wedding Party Gifts

What is everyone getting for their bridal party? I'm starting to think about it and I'm finding it difficult for a couple of the girls in particular.  I have 6 bridesmaids and 1 maid of honor, and want to spend about $50 on each person.  So far this is what I came up with:

BM 1: Spa/massage gift certificate since she just had a baby and could probably use the chance to de-stress
BM 2: Print by a street artist she really loves

And then it gets hard!
BM 3 loves the Yankees and Giants, and is always hosting parties at her house.  She's in a serious relationship and they do a lot of adventurous things together like zip lining and hang gliding but I'm so lost what to get her.  I was thinking some kind of couples thing but what?

BM 4 likes cooking and food and is kind of a home body.

BM 5 also likes cooking, the Yankees and is married.  She's very laid back and goes with the flow.  I wouldn't really get her anything "girly."

BM 6 is artsy and loves clothes and fasion and music.  I know there's a necklace she wants that she saw while she was visiting me in CA but it's only 10 bucks so I would need more to get her.

MOH is my sister and we are somewhat opposites.  She likes fashion and going out and has somewhat expensive taste.  I know she loves swavorski stuff but that's a little out of my price range.  She's difficult to shop for.

Any ideas for girls like these? I'm starting to go crazy thinking of ideas!

Re: Wedding Party Gifts

  • I did the same thing for all 10 of my girls. I ordered embroidered bathrobes with their names and a matching one for me in white so we can all wear them them morning of the wedding while getting ready. Those were only $20 each. I'm hanging them on a wooden name hanger that I'm making and putting them inside a pretty garment bag that they can use for transporting their bridesmaids dress. Then I have a clutch with a poem inside about all the little things they may need that day such as a bandaid, mints, lipbalm, etc. Lastly, I got them all a pair of chandelier earrings that match but yet are all unique styles.

  • I really like the idea of the hangers I was planning on those with the garment bag!! Cute idea...I might steal it ; I was having a hard time, trying to decide if I should get my girls the Cape Cod necklace...my FH and I decided that since someone in our bridal party did it, it's off limits. We are going to head to Tiffany's to check out a starfish necklace that I love for my ladies. It's a bit more expensive but they are all spending a lot to be in our wedding, so we're ok with it! I'm still having a had time with parent gifts...
  • I don't really see my girls wanting robes or stuff like that. I could see a couple of them liking jewelry but I really want to get them each something that is unique to their personality, unless I found something they'd all like which is highly unlikely.

  • KLS, here's the link to amazon where I'm ordering them, they are only $12 which is pretty good. I choose zebra & hot pink but there are lots of other colors lol

I got my MOH a Vera Bradley tote. I am planning on putting a few fun things in there for her, like nail polish and maybe a sugar scrub. I'm clueless on my other two girls. All of us are getting monogrammed short robes for getting ready in. We are planning on doing a photo frame and photo book for our parents. Two of the groomsmen we are buying a night of hotel for, since they are from out of state nd they are already spending Aton just to get here. Our local groomsmen is getting since trip to the liquor store, he's 18, and headed to collegeso I'm sure he'll love that!!
  • Not sure if you're interested but LivingSocial just had a Swarovski deal on a 8 row bracelet. It retailed for 170 and selling for 15 bucks.

  • Also Swarovski has other names they sell under. I found a necklace at Macy's in their jewlery cases, but a company named Arabella makes it, but uses Swarovski crystals!

I had pearl necklaces and earring made for my bms and pearl necklaces for the flower girl.  If you know a jeweler, they are actually really afforable, ~$9 for earrings (real pearls set in silver), and about ~18 for the necklances (bigger floating pearl).  I also got them Tory Burch makeup bags that were on sale (you can get 10% off also if you sign up for their emails).  That way there is something they can wear for the weddding and afterwards and something useful
